    Lake you had a lot of damage to seal up. I still believe that filler is for 1/8” at the most. Using the mat was a good thing on yours.

    Yes i had to cover it for peace of mind. Yes your also correct 1/8” max and i was advised 1/16” is a better target. I had to skim the entire hull it took three gallons but we did sand most of it off. As usual i did some test pieces and i was surprised at how tough it is. It’s definitely a lot more resilient than bondo although not nearly as hard. Another thing i noticed is it really airs up a lot of bubbles when you catalyze it. The trick there is after thoroughly blending spread it out on your hock real thin and t he bubbles rise and you can dab it up with the spreader bit by bit and this prevents most of the air bubbles and pinholes on the boat you typically get using it
