    A collector who is addicted to 1971 Mustangs.

    His parts room layout is interesting, walking from front to back.
    Headlights, grille, etc in this section.
    Next section - engine components.
    Next section - cabin components.
    Next section - trunk, muffler, etc.
    Next section - bumper, taillights.

    VinFast

    VinFast electric vehicles VF8 & VF9 SUVs are coming to America.

    ~~~~~
    On March 29, 2022, VinFast announced that it would invest up to $2 billion to build a factory in North Carolina. The state of North Carolina is enthusiastic about the new site, as it is anticipated to bring in thousands of new jobs.
    According to a press release issued by Governor Roy Cooper, the first phase of the new VinFast factory is expected to build 150,000 cars per year. And through a Transformative Job Development Investment Grant, the state anticipates VinFast will grow the state’s economy by $71 billion or more over a 32-year period.
    By the end of 2022, construction for phase 1 of the factory is scheduled to begin, and production is planned for 2024 if all goes according to plan.
    Meanwhile, Texas is having rolling blackouts again.
    And this is troubling. "Transformative Job Development Investment Grant".
    Sounds like a scam to me. I wonder if I could get a grant to start up an EV factory that our infrastructure will not support...?
    hey, does your car have the timing chain that can break and destroy the motor?
    and by the way you better get your back fixed because it will only get worst
    And it is "WORSE", not "WORST". Nice grammar.
    And I was just putting that out there!!! Man....
    I wasn't trying to be a dick. Are you that tender??? I was looking at a LOW mile Turbo S at one time... Still am. I was looking at all of them. That is why I know of their quirks, or rather their inadequacies.
    And as far as your "concerns" about my poor, old dilapidated car, it has a new chains and tensioners and runs great for a 108,000-mile engine. Last time out 135mph was not a problem. All the brakes have been restored (all 911 S parts) including all the rubber parts, all new fuel lines, clutch, pressure plate, transaxel rebuild, etc. You should hear the clutch engagement on the freshly cut flywheel! It has a swirl cut from the machine shop and whines when you engage the clutch. Solid as a rock!!! All new shifter bushings... The oil is even hard to see on the stick because it is so clean. Not bad for a 50-year-old 99% rust free Targa, huh? All numbers matching and I have the Certificate of Origin from PORSCHE in GERMANY! Fixing to build up a 3.4 or ???. And a new transaxel. 300hp, taller gears and a locking dif are on the menu. Just to play with while the old engine is renewed and.... I have to buy and restore an MFI, injectors, the whole nine yards. That will cost alone 10K+. OH... And it was originally equipped with Sport Seats. Last set I saw USED was $10K and they needed to be renewed.
    It now it has 6J x 16s on it with 205/55 ZTR Pirellis (still have the 6JX15s and even the original spare that has never touched the ground. Still has tits on it.). A set of light weight Wolf race seats (period correct), and I have to do a bit of work to get the rear sway bar back on. Once then I am ready for Auto X!
    BTW I have it insured for $110K and am not scared to drive it.
    It is supposed to have mechanical fuel injection, but it was removed and replaced by carbs (not by me). But I have extensive knowledge of setting up a set of 40IDA Webers on a flat six. It took me a while, but I finally got it! I have the float gauges, air flow meter... all of it!
    And along with the rare seats I scored an also rare alloy hubbed RAID steering wheel (orginal was MIA and it had a cheapy on it). What is cool about it, is it is period correct, early 1970s.
    And yea, the dash, knee pads, and door panels are incorrect. I have already sourced and replaced the rear with original parts. The dash and knee pads are almost impossible to get now in good quality... I finally found an ash tray and mount. Not going to even mention what I paid for that. HAHAHA. You want to talk money, restore one of these!
    Oh, it is insured for $110K.
    Last I heard they are phasing out the Hellcats. Both the Challenger and the Charger...
    And GOING TO EVs!!!
    So, I was thinking about buying one of each!
    Should I? I think I should!
    Hell, I will have to order them. No telling when they will come in.
