    Wireing up a tach: Honda 20hp 4 smoke

    Just picked up a Honda 4 stroke 20HP for boat #3..
    Is it possible to rig a tach onto this little thing? Honda Motor Corp does not offer one for this size, and I don't see any available for 2-cyl engines on the aftermarket.
    Even inflatables get an occasional race you know! Thanks.

    When I did a tach on my 2 cyl 2 stroke, I used a Tiny Tach.

    It doubles as a tach and an hour meter. Just wraps around a plug wire for signal pickup

    Yep.......get one that has a replaceable wafer battery.
