Build quality new Chris Crafts
Chris Craft still makes boats of course, and nothing that I would want to buy. But I do like the lines more than your average tub. Although I don't see the closed bow models anymore on their website. I prefer a closed bow appearance and center consoles, although useful, don't appeal
My question is about build quality. Are they using premium materials and processes?

...nobody can accurately answer this question, unless they are part of chris*craft's current actual manufacturing team at the plant. and then, its a matter of opinion & they're/your definition of quality. chris*craft has changed ownership so many times in recent years, its merely just a name anymore. have been a multiple chris*craft dealer, a multiple chris*craft owner, and a manufacturer of hundreds of like boats. with this being said, chris*craft is, and always has been, a "production" built boat builder...

Heres a link to their website. Kinda neat designs that incorporate some of the classic lines from years past. I have no idea about quality etc.

The new ones are nice, real nice. the cadillac of boats for sure. the interior and dash layout have the ''wow factor''..IMO.

They are owned by Winnebago and they make decent camper but IHMO they are doing their best to capitalize on the name. $200,000 for a calypso 24? for that money you'd think the website would be very specific about how well they are built, lot of companies out there selling the sizzle and not the steak.

They dont have to say nothing, its a Chris Craft.. would you ask Chevy if there Corvette is still built well? You are paying for the name, exactly.

Very few boat companies talk about how they are made these days. I can't imagine paying 200 large for a wake boat and not knowing the core material, the resin material, etc. We know everything that went into our 2017 J Craft
Not much detail is on the Chris Craft web site, but I do like the lines
"We employ the most skilled carpenters, joiners, cabinetmakers and artisans – all of whom are experts in boat building. Many have been crafting our boats for decades. Their knowledge of teak and other woods including mahogany, oak, maple, walnut, cherry and exotic woods, is unsurpassed in the industry."

I have a speedster, it is a well built boat. Rides decent my wife LOVES it. For a production boat it is at the upper end of quality in my opinion.
