A strong 2.5 will get you in the 90mph range. I would run a 30p lightning ET on it. Or a 30p cleaver. Chopper will give too much bow lift. You might end up running tucked under, which you def don't want..Just my 2 cts.

It may have more left in it, I'm just cautious with trim right now at these speeds. It feels a bit flighty when I start to bump it much higher, but that could just be me scared. And I'm fine with that right now lol. Here's a video from Saturday running the St Johns river.

Looks and sounds awesome! Great work!
That little wiggle your getting went away when I switched to a cleaver prop on my ltv. Don't know if that is relevant to your stream, but might be worth trying.
    Thanks for the video.

Thanks, it runs so good I am almost afraid of changing anything lol..

I have a built up motor and I'm struggling to take this motor off because of how its currently performing.

Agree completely that thing is rockin! I’d be trying every prop i could get my hands on before repowering. A race cut tempest would be minty. Lightning et a fan fav as well but spendy. Cleavers fast but careful you dont hook it

Yamaha Drags work well also and ET's are great. I never really liked the cleavers on my Hydrostreams but they do run fast, just not as stable I feel. Also I like my 30 small ear chopper. Maybe if you find a good deal on a chopper have it ET cut.

I tried most of the props here on my wall (26-28p). The best top end is with a 28p 4 blade cleaver. The 26p yamaha drag has good manners, but way off pace. 3 blade 28p et drove well, but 4 blade 28p et is faster, (a bit tougher to drive), but again not as fast as cleaver. All the choppers like to wiggle on top end, but have good bite, (work well with a passenger).... This from a different style hull, also running 150hp, although a bit slower speeds than your setup. If you (or better yet, me for the winter) were local, I'd let you test what I got. Would be real interesting to see how your hull responds in comparison.
I think I remember you saying you tried a 3 blade cleaver and didn't like it. I personally never had my hands on one, but in my mind they would have too much slip on a fishing motor, unless a full 15" dia, ultralight hull, or pitching up.

have you raised the motor more when you are alone in the boat yet? With weight in the boat be careful but when running light and alone try to go up on the jackplate and you may see more speed. Keep an eye on the water pressure!

Unfortunately the motor is as high as it will go currently.
