225 promax injector OEM Keihin part number?

I'm looking to get a set of 225 promax injectors but I don't want to buy them from Mercury for $500 a piece. I was wondering what Honda cars/engines share the same injector as the promax? Also, what CC is the stock orange tip Keihin injectors? I haven't been able to find a thread on here that addresses my question since most threads talk about how the 280 shares the same injectors as the 1980s Mercedes SL.

I saw that earlier. If I can't find a new set, I may go that route.

Buy used and have them cleaned/serviced. I'm not sure if those are used in any other application but I kind of doubt it. KeiHin does not use part numbers like most of the other manufactures. As far as I know they only sell to OEMs who sell them under the OEM part number. They are literally just called "Pink Tips"

Whats wrong with yours that you need another set?

I bought a used engine that recently had the injectors cleaned and it said that 3 of the 6 are weak. I would like to keep using them if I could but at the same time I don't want to put money into something that needs replacing. Could I text you a pic of the sheet I have and get your thoughts on my situation?

Yeah just referred to as pink tips. I got some used ones that could fill in your set of "weak" ones if Blake doesn't have some at his place. I also have a complete set of flow matched ones, but if you already have 3 good then there's no sense in buyin 6...

    I'm with you Bobby!
Simpson, I say forget the sheet and send them to Injectorservice to check for you.
Yes, they are known as "Pink tips" also come and work on all 300X engines so that should tell you how much fuel you can run through them.

Another quick question. Why do some look orange. I have mine apart and the tips look orange. Does this happen with age or something?
