Ya’all have a bucket list?
I do.
in order:
#1. Isle of Mann motorcycle road race in Ireland.
Based on how dangerous this race is, I’d guess, one maybe two yrs before they pull the plug.
Researching travel plans now.
#2. The Bridge to Bridge water ski race in Aus.
They have changed this race so whatever is close to the orig.
#3. Bonneville Speed Weeks.
After I achieve all 3,….,plant me, I’m done.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

I always wanted to go to the Reno air race. I worked on a friend's T6 that raced there.. Got to fly in it... Talk about bad ass!

Can't believe Ilse Of Mann is still going. Hope to see it some day. Personally I don't really have a "bucket list". Anything I have wanted to do I did it. Now it's just stay alive and enjoy what I have got. Life has been good.

A bucket list? Here’s the list: livestock, ice, mop, car washing, ash, industrial, sand, storage, dual spout, collapsible, lidded and seat cushion. I don’t have a wooden bucket so I need one of those. Seriously. I’d like to see Patagonia.

My list is more prosaic
1. Try the French fry shack in my wife’s home town, after decades of driving past
2. Get the speedometer working in my SS2000
3. Keep swimming and water skiing into my 80’s (63 now)

Rock, I’ve done everything too and am very content.
My 3 are all that’s left.
After looking at flight costs, Bonneville is the only thing in my wheel house.
David, after reading mine last night I felt simple
I like yours about skiing/swimming.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

Maybe go to the F1 race in Austin. I had planned to go run the Nubergring and should have done it in the 90's when I had the chance but that is life.
Now days I plan to go to the WWII museum in N.O.-----------------------

What is left is right!!!!!?
What is left?????
I've had several hours in a Christen Eagle... It will do anything you want... The "tail slide" was my favorite... Inverted loop was cool too, but more painful.
Flown in a P51 Mustang for almost an hour, part of it doing the air show routine in front of the crowd! .... 300 mph+ on the deck is so fast! And the sound is unbelievable! Talk about a RUSH!!!
And a Reno air racer T6 many more hours than that! (I worked on it).
"Flown" in Howard Arneson's 46' turbine powered Skater over 160mph...
Spent several hours with Ken Warby and actually boated with him!!!
Flown in a true Ron Jones tunnel well over 80 mph driven/owned by Dennis Fisher, AKA Lake Trash.
Built a Crossflow on an Allison that ran over 95 mph...
What more IS THERE?
My '72 911 runs over 135mph with the original engine (over 100K on the clock). And that is on the hwy in front of my house. Same with the Z28 but 140....
I want a Porsche Turbo S... and maybe a nice hotrod 67 Stingray before I am done.
