UPDATE.

I wanted to give an update the first time I brought it out. I didn't run it long at all. But I got it on plane a couple times. Holy cow! I was not expecting the mods to do much but I was wrong! WOT rpm before was 5300rpm at 42mph fully trimmed. With the same prop it now gets over 6000rpm not trimmed all the way at 44mph. I know it's faster than 44mph but I didn't have it out there for long. What's really insane is the acceleration! I gotta do some more tinkering with the boat and run it for longer so I can check the plugs but so far I am very happy.

It will loosen up after break in and get little faster also. Glad.for ya

I did another test run. All the way trimmed I'm getting 45mph and 6200rpm. I think I'm gonna go from a 16p prop to 18p or 19p. My main jets are at .080 right now. But they still look clean. Not enough run time I think.
