Have friends who sold their house and moved to Florida, guess most of the customers for his company were there so the business climate was better for him also. Took like 8 trips to move his shop and everything else, Ooof.

Michigan has had some mild winters these last few years for sure.

Another friend of mines Grandpa had a cottage on Lake Gogebic, said it is very quiet up there.

The only activity is at the bars or on the trails. You are a snowmobile enthusiast or an alcoholic (at least those are the two major classifications).

I guess, a few years ago we drove to Marquette to visit family and on some desolate road in the middle of nowhere there's a house.

Always wondered what you do out there, probably takes a few hours just to get groceries. No Thank You.

Oh I don't know. It takes 2.5 hrs to get to a Sam's club and back. It is a 1.5 hr round trip to the closest Walmart (which I haven't been to one in 8 years or longer) and an hour round trip to the closest grocery. My buggy was always full before the mask bullsh!t. I order everything online now.

BTW my nearest neighbor is just over a 1/4 mile away. And they don't care if I do burn outs in front of my house or shoot my pistol, or....

OK, so that would be the best thing, can't do that stuff on a 1/2 acre in the suburbs. Although Woodward isn't far away so if you are careful can still do burnouts there, lol.

We have that down here but its going away fast if you want to be on the coast or within a mile from the water. I have been talking about putting a couple shooting lanes in my new barn.

I am toying with the idea of putting in a range, and making it members only. I live/own 75 acres and it is well over 1000 yds long. All I need to do is put up a pile of dirt on the end. It gets hot here so I was thinking of putting a shooting shack with A/C... Just stick your barrel out the window... My bet I let the police have access and it will be a shoe in.

    I already have several gongs.

Lived in Marquette for college, it seemed so desolate and far away. feels almost normal now. I do have 9 acres close to work, neighbors dont mind when we shoot, so not all bad.

surgery was fun, My body didn't like the anestisia so that was a party

Arm hurts only when i move, so thats cool when i dont move.

    wife is a saint

surgery on my left was tricky

surgery on my right is ultra tricky

Good to hear! You are lucky you have a "helper".

Oh, I also have a 45 minute drive to a ramp on the Yazoo River through the historical center of Vicksburg, brick roads, tourists and all. There it is a mile or so until you are in the Mississippi. At times it is great!!! Other times treacherous would be an understatement!

Hope this warms you up!!! 25 miles north of Vicksburg.

A throw together.. A true XP I built for a super stock class that fell apart... Great running motor though! And the high ring myth... is just that. That was one of my "cheats" for the class. And I used two gaskets on the reed cages to "stuff" the intake... 95-6 mph at 7K with a stock 29 SRX. I never ran it out with the 32 Hoss.

On this trip, the Mississippi Wildlife and Fisheries had to come check me out. When he saw me checking the timing... He looked my rig over and told me to be careful!

    Why I don't know???
