I making slow progress. Seat boxes and knees reglassed. Toe board, Hot Foot, and shifter mounted, along with the interior being painted.
I’ve got 1/8” carbon fiber that I’m using as an overlay for the dash. I’m trying to figure out what I should use to bond it. I don’t want to rely on the gauges alone holding it in place. Any suggestions?

Bonding over paint? I'm thinking 5200 and leave it clamped for at least 12 days to cure. No more nails or PL might also work well. Gorilla glue too. Lots of options. If going over gel it would probably bond excellent with vinyester resin if you key both surfaces

Actually, it’s going over paint/poly filler, I plugged the old instrument holes and faired it all in. I have no problem with sanding, I just want to attach the panel with good strength and the minimal amount of material between it and the dash.

Any epoxy glue would work. For quick and easy try some JB weld. Scuff and clean first.
