China graduates 8 times as many computer engineers as the USA, per Ray Dalio.

That is exponentially catching up to America & Germany's technical expertise.
Being we are in the data information era, that is very alarming if China is/becomes a bad global actor/adversary.

Data controls all the major industries (i.e. finance, business, military, medical, education, media, and politics).

If the Chinese Communist regime supports and upholds private business & employees' profits (i.e. their version of capitalism), then China will become (if it has not already) a bigger version (because of population) of Japan Inc.

China is motivated (politically, academically & culturally) to modernize into the tech world. And they have the revenue to support their internal business model, because they are a big exporter of goods. China exports way more goods to the USA, than the USA to China. The American consumers are bankrolling the Chinese.

Our first president George Washington said, a house divided can not stand, I just picture where we as a country are right now, I personally don't care for our current president, but imo. Slandering him on all of the world stages makes us as a country look a little meek, that in my opinion is one of the major reasons the world has changed so much in the last 2 years, we must assert ourselves as a super power and a world leader in all the freedoms we represent, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, then and only then can we be a united nation that is ruled by ourselves and not other countries

Our current occupant in the White House makes us look weak all by himself. And the people who are running this farce are making us look weak. They are making us unsafe in the world. I wish there was an easy way out of this, but there isn't. Standing with this administration is not gonna make our enemy's respect us. Replacing them with a competent administration, that puts our interests first is a start. It would be nice if we could hold people accountable, but we just can't seem to do that. The news would be a good place to start. The tech company's should be held accountable too.

BTW Word on the street is that china is having far worse financial woes than us. We could starve them if we wanted. See how much food we ship over there sometime.

Remember, we ALLOW them to possess land here. WE get no such permission to own land there. Think about that for a while. We can take back our permission anytime we need too. They only occupy what we ALLOW them to occupy. They had better tread lightly.. American people have just about had enough.

Agree, but I can't see the people in charge now, having the balls to not allow. They won't even get them to admit where this virus came from.

Sure they import commodities from around the globe, wherever they have opportunity. However we're a speed bump to them as time moves on. I read the financial section , they're not shiitting the bed. It's a machine with billions of citizens on side, for now.
Control, supply of goods, communication sector, but food supply isn't likely.

What I haven't seen is Biden undue some of TRUMP's work with respect to the imbalance. I could be wrong and just missed that episode but I don't think he has.
