22' Velocity w/2.5L 280

Asking $15,000. The hull is a 1989 HIN starts with VMX. I'm the third owner, the original owner custom built most of this boat when it was new, I have a lot of that original paperwork. It's definitely one of a kind and turns heads anywhere you take it. It's powered by a '99 2.5L EFI 280HP powerhead. The mid section is the original '93 2.5L 260 offshore with the CLE lower unit. The sound of this machine is incredible. This is a great boat for someone that wants something they can haul the family comfortably and also get up on top of the water and haul some butt. A Velocity 22 is a pad bottom boat giving it good lift for good performance. These boats also do well on bigger water because the flat surface on this pad is long for a 22' hull. This is one of the unique models that has a cuddy below. The interior is very comfortable and flexible. The front seat can rotate if you're hanging out in a cove all day. It's also quite wide for a boat this size. It has a sunbrella bimini top, a snap on cockpit cover, and a custom made full cover. It has a very good stereo with (2) 8" coax speakers and (1) 10" powered sub. All powered by efficient class D amps that run on a completely separate gel cell battery from the engine battery. Boat runs mid 70's as rigged. This boat is dependable and lake ready. I've used it for 14 years and recently bought another boat to haul more people.

Nice Velocity! Love the layout on the gauges. The Merc. 280 how many hours you think is on it & has it been refreshed & if so by who & what was done to it? What prop or props come w the sale? More pics of the boat & motor & cabin pics too. Any more info on all this would help to sale this nice looking Velocity. Im interested & would like more

Great price. Just bought an '88 without motor and just finished rigging it so I know what it takes. Surprised it's a VMX hin also, being an '89. Mine is a Regal hull, but was built by Steve in Pompano. Has the exact interior layout as yours too with the pedestal seats. Should sell fast!
