Cool Turkey Rod Run 2021 ,,,

Here you go gearheads , lived 6 years between Port Orange and Ormand by the sea, never made it inside the infield , just hanging out out at the Bel Air plaza and the hotel across the street with the 2 story parking garage full of "Driveway Jewelry ". next year want to make the scene , guessing the largest car show on the east coast if not the US. 64 Chrysler 300 all original w/72k miles , straight as an arrow and no rust whats the difference between old well cared for cars and old boats , cha ching

    enjoy , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbIZn0GZKL0

One thing I noticed... SOOOO many people riding electric scooters, etc. instead of walking... Wow!!!

Cool stuff. Still not crazy about the huge wheels and skinny tires though. Some cars/trucks look stupid with those IMO.

agreed , first thing I learned about off road was the big " baloon " tires in the sand was " floatation " so you can deflate them halfway and get more traction. with these skinny tires that is not an option, just the "hey look at me " factor

Chrysler already has a 1,000 hp Hemi crate motor out... If you can get one. This covid BS has them shut down from what I read. It is only $30K full EFI computer and all, so not too bad for the horsepower. I think it is a supercharged 426. A 70s Barracuda would be my pick..

I mean, I can go 16s and 17s on some cars, but the 22s and larger look ridiculous IMO. I found a set of 17X9 GM SS wheels on the CHEAP off fleabay. Bit of an upgrade to my 16X8s that came on my 02 Z28. They may look okay on my 80 Z28, but I suspect the back spacing will be a problem. We'll see.
