Al Stoker builds a 300 HP Evinrude V6 in Hotboat

March 2003. This should bring a smile to Instigator.

    It did and thank you.

I have a copy of that story in my Bible.

It started at 340 HP until Al detuned it for the story.

I dont think that story did Al any good in Hot Boats eyes as, since it wasn’t about a Merc, me and, like, three other guys bought that issue/read that story.

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

    Looking good!!!

Who has a looper that doesn't have that article?

And what about the Crossflow OMC 9 pages? I have a copy of that in PDF if anyone wants it.

I talked to him at length about crossflow carbs long time ago. Awesome fellow!

I had a link to it.... and a copy of the thread and would bring it up from time to time. People don't like the truth though... and like it or not, true data sometimes hurts feelings... or rather their ego.

If not for Mr. Stoker, I wouldn't have had the joy to disappoint... and embarrass... I mean when you run a 1980 235 Evinrude on an old Allison XB2002 CompPro and running with a 225 Pro Max on a Bullet and a 280 on a Rocket....

And when I mean running with...They could not leave me! Talk about hurt feelings!!! I woke a few folks up!

Yes, I can think of cooling on the v6 looper for one that he has mentioned
    Lets see what he says.
