    Probably okay for a half hour. Those new fancy 1k motors from anyone don't have the build to be marine engines.

    Have to agree not sure how long some of those not built for marine application. I can tell you a couple have put big power in them (against our recommendations and way over powered) and run some big numbers.

    Small block is in a 20 the 22's with big power have big blocks with blower or turbo and have run in excess of 140

    I know where the perfect one is for sale is in Havasu has a 300 XS on it with the $8,000 upgrade to the motor making it 370 horsepower right around 50 hours on it.

    Thats a 20 that has been repowered and over rated power. The 20 does not like that engine combination due to weight and lower unit.

    330 - 340 maybe????????

    Most that I’ve seen, report improved acceleration and no added top end.
