    Stoker 22 from Hotboat

It's Stoker day for me. More to follow.

Stoker was a dream for me for a long time. I got sidetracked, but the boats still appeal. And I grew up an OMC guy.

This hull would be a great candidate for a 300r.
Let Wildman rig it and paint it !!

Do you remember the 26 with twin's?

He definitely built up a lot of good stuff in boating industry/not sure if there was ever big blocks in his rigs though/maybe.
I know there was a lotta sweet outboard rigs he built.

Not sure how many they built but I saw one at the Dania flea market in Fla 10 or so yrs ago.
Still had V-8 loopers on it but was beat.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Weird that this popped up just the other day I was wondering where the moulds for the 22 and 26 stokers ended up (Racer you listening). They would be great boats with modern power. The 26 with a single 450 would probably be a really cool package

That or twin 300R motors would be an acceleration beast.

Used to be a guy w/a 22 powered by a NASCAR small block Ford (I think) w/a Blackhawk drive that was running 130 15 or so yrs ago.

Eliminator was laying up the boats for awhile.
    They may have the molds.

Al retired a couple yrs ago, moved to Fla and has been seen driving around ina golf cart wearing knee high black socks and sandals

Thanks for the kind words. Molds currently in storage but talking with a builder who may start building a limited number, time will tell. The 26 mold no longer exists, the one with twin V8 was one of these. The boat with a blackhawk is a 20 not a 22 and has an all aluminum 400 plus inch small block chevy based engine.

That’s impressive/aluminum small block could easily be made to 4-500hp n weighing in about 500lbs long block/easily over 85-90 mph.

    I was thinking it was a 20’.

Not sure where I came up w/the Ford part but that seemed more realistic than the 22 part.

What happened to the 26 mould. Interested for historical purposes.
also how did they run?, I feel like it was way before it’s time

Making a mold is easy... how do you think they would run with todays power?

I wonder how well one of those new 1,000 hp Chrysler Hemi crate engines would do in that.
