LA and Orange county in California alone, have the world's people residing there.
Asia, Middle East, Russians, East Europeans, Africans, South Americans, Central Americans, Caribbean & Pacific Islanders. I think that diverse list includes all the major regions of the world.
And also they bring their cuisines/restaurants to southern California.
USA is a magnet of freedom, stability, higher education and economic opportunity. And those are several reasons why the world's people desire to live in the USA.

LA and Orange county may well be extremely diverse. But the US as a whole, not so much. Toronto is often touted as the most diverse city in the world, with close to 50% being born outside of the country and over 50% being visible minorities. Overall Canada is not the most diverse country in the world.
I get being drawn to the USA. I worked there for most of my career

Toronto has more minorities than traditional hockey players but that's not the norm, growing up next to Niagara Falls we've spent much time in Canada and as far back as the 70's we noticed bus load after busload of Asian tourist on the Canadian side, I guess those anchor baby's grew up
My mother in law is from Ottawa don't see many there or Quebec.

I have worked with Japanese engineers who got tired of taking every visitor from Japan to the Falls. I should go again.
Lots of Canada is still very uniform. It’s not all like Toronto. I live in a diverse city, but my sub culture is late middle age white guys. I do enjoy the restaurants

What is the attraction for women to visit Niagara Falls? Female co-workers and my Mom too, want to go see the falls. I just do not hear the same desire from my male colleagues and friends.
