Mercury efi powerhead swap

Hey guys ! I had a 2000 mercury 150 efi that threw a rod and took out the block. With the prices of new motors these days I'm looking at getting a reman efi powerhead , was wondering if anyone has put a 200 efi powerhead onto a 150 mid and what I'd be looking at for additional parts ( ecu /exhaust porting) thanks !!

You’ll just need the 200ecu……everything else bolts up same same

I believe you might want to change the 150 Tuner also.

Thats kind of what I had been hearing too , exhaust tuner is different between a 150-200 but same between a 150 and a 175

Not sure on the 175 as I've never had the plate off the one I have to see the tuner, but I did the same as you asked about, put a 200 on an XR6 mid and used the plate and tuner off the 200.
