Kryptonite 27 Center Console New Power Compared to Old Power

Presently running twin 225 Pro Max on 27 Kryptonite...
There are no new motors by Mercury in that power range and weight...

    Single 450R ?

Boat ran high 78+ this summer with no seat time or set up with the existing power

What do you guys think about going to a single 450?

I think if this was a new build a 450R would be most people`s first choice. It`s the best new motor available.

Too heavy. I have 25”s now, but I could prolly go to 20s with some adjustments with twins. With single I would have to go 25.

JB, I run it through the inlet and into the Ocean. Boat does not know it’s 27 ft. Runs like a 30+. Best Hull I ever drove for its size

Did you at least see the shameless plug I put in for you? Look at the only stickers that are on the motors! Not putting any Merc decals unless they pay me F'em

Everyone down here now wants to call boats in that size range, hydrid boats?? Anyway I saw one here and was real impressed with the hull. Looks like a real screamer. A 450 would be great power.

what makes it a “hybrid”? Because it has the small forward cabin?
