    Hydrostream Vasseret

My hydrostream has run a best of 80 MPH at 6000 with a 27 pitch pro max prop. I tried a 28 ET it ran a best of 7000 RPM at 77 MPH why so much slip? The ET needed much more trim to run hard it just didn't have the lift of the pro max prop. I tried it up till running low on WP and all the way down. The motor is a 225 PM Bobs cone Bobs 4" jack. Getting late in the season now but wondering where to turn for prop's now?

Is your pad hooked? Not sure what the issue with the et is but a trip to a good prop shop should sort that out.

Pad is straight runs nice with the pro max 27 the ET drives fine doesn't vibrate but no lift compared to the PM and so many RPM probably hitting the limiter.

Yami drag is a similar prop. You might have some luck here. Certainly worth a few phone calls if no one else chimes in. That’s a lot of slip, especially for an et

I don't understand it the ET looks great accelerates better than the PM prop but just doesn't have much lift.

Well the promax is known as a hard to turn prop and the et is known to spool up great. I’m wondering if it’s a weight thing with the bow rider? Too much weight on the nose messing with the balance? The promax prop simply has more blade area which gives it more lift and that’s the change? I’m sure you could add cup to the et to increase lift I have a heavily cupped chopper than lifts my hull considerably higher than the stock choppers I have.
