    15" conversion for 300 Promax.

What is need for this conversion?

    Shorter drive shaft.
Clamp bracket? Could you modify the 20" bracket?

    Thank you.

Call Todd , number is listed on the web site. Easy guy to talk to and can take care of the things that need to be done ... or can send you the right place ..

Yes you can have your swivel bracket , tiller pin and single ram cylinder shortened .. or you can buy a 2.5 offshore bracket , tiller pin and use your long cylinder.

You need a shortened driveshaft , couple different ways to go.
    1) is cut and resplined.
    2) is cut and the hardened end reused.

You will need a shortened shift shaft.

Your water tube is made of copper , bronze , brassamataz and more than likely looks more green than metal. The newer opti tube is stainless .. (still needs to be cut) and Todd has a nice anodized aluminum mount that comes with a new grommet. (At least half of the stock plastic ones I have seen, have cracked or broken off ears)

Do you have recommendations for anyone to shorten the swivel bracket?

Also, my drive shaft is two pieces. Do I just shorten the top shaft? Click image for larger version.

Nevermind. Just called Todd and he broke everything down. Need a factory 15" mid because of the set back. Modified stock 20" will have clearance issues. Thanks! @Chaz

I'm assuming the clearance issue you speak of is with the drive shaft housing contacting the bottom of the stock long single Ram cylinder?
If yes, you can get around that issue by shortening the stock long single Ram cylinder as Chaz States above. I have a cut down 2.5 set up this way and it works perfectly.

Thank you Garth ... I guess I should have highlighted a few words ..

Yes you can have "your" swivel bracket , tiller pin and single ram cylinder shortened

"or" you can buy a 2.5 offshore bracket , tiller pin and use your long cylinder.

For the 2.5 Offshore bracket, I get the 15" length? Or 20" and have it shorten? Thank you.

    Post's #2 , #5 and #6 answered everything you need to know.

Post #7 is a bit confusing because you mentioned a bit from two different ways mentioned . Go back and read it again ...
