    Angry Dst

Enough with all their BS excuses! Here we are rolling our clocks back again next Sunday?! Has nothing to do with politics. Current President imposed a vaccine mandate, former president Trump said he would "rubber stamp" legislation for DST approval and the morons on capital hill couldn't even get their act together (again) this year for DST forever! I refuse to change the time on any of my vehicles that require manual updates. They are always on DST. Maybe Arizona flubbed up on election matters but at least they don't buy-in to this time change joke. Farmers should focus on growing their crops and where they get their water and stop worrying about what time it is?

I'd like to see how all of those gov people like dealing with the darkness this time of year. Dark at 4:15PM (essentially the afternoon!) and not light out again until 7:55AM (mid morning in summer!).
Alaska must be impossible this time of year?

Yeah man, I'm with ya. Just the idea that they legislated an eight hour daylight schedule shows they have to much power.

We used the 24hr clock when I worked on seismic boats. Took a little getting use to but not a problem.

    WTF you talkin' 'bout???

Damn, I must be really dumb... All this time I thought it was so children waiting on the school bus in the early morning WOULD NOT HAVE TO DO IT IN THE F**KING DARK!!!

    Duh...

    Care to cite a source?

BTW I farmed for 35+ years. The only clock I had was when I was too tired to go anymore. Sun up to sun down and then some. 14 hr days were the norm. And all these pu$$ies cry about $15hr flipping burgers. They don't know WTF real labor is!

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...ng-clocks-gai/

"The campaign to stop changing the clocks twice a year is picking up steam, as Americans prepare to lose an hour of sleep this weekend for Daylight Saving Time.

More than 350 bills have been introduced in statehouses across the country since 2015 to leave the clocks alone permanently. This year, 28 states are considering bills related to the time change, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Eighteen states have passed legislation in the last four years, but they must receive approval from Congress to make the switch. Hawaii and Arizona do not observe Daylight Saving Time."

It's the battery powered clocks that are a pain in the ass to change. Little teeny adjustment wheel that takes forever to move (especially if the mechanism only moves forward) for "falling back" in the fall.
