Yes they are a ton of work! For us not much difference between dogs and kids. Our dogs are spoiled.

I found this one the other day looking through my pictures. My son was hunting white tail.... so I was baby sitting... And Charlie helped out too. Amazing how tolerant they can be... Damn puppies are... can be vicious!!! Needle teeeeeeeth! I have had two Weimars before, so not my first rodeo.

My wife had a bunch of feeders in the backyard but the hummingbirds in California must be different than the ones in Louisiana. Here they seem to be very territorial the only time we would get more than one hummingbird at the feeder is if it was a family member. There’s always a hummingbird on watch and when another non-family member would fly in they would chase them off.

I have had that happen before!

Stoker boy, they are that way here. This was rare probably during their migration. They seem to gang up right before a storm or hurricane.

This guy bounced off a windshield, laying in the weeds and sand. Bro spotted him, dazed and confused, we gave him a couple drops of organic strawberry jam juice. 10 min later, took flight, landed on deck railing, then did a lap and gone. Felt extra human that day.
