    Buyer Beware!
    The obstacles a startup company has to go through, especially in aviation, where FAA does not require a pilot's license for flying an Ultra-light aircraft.
    The quote below is from SomeOldGuy.

    ~~~~~
    "Having done accident investigations for the Navy myself, and spending the rest of my career in aircraft survivability in general, I can only cringe when I hear that the safety review board is made up of the company's own senior managers, all of whom have an equity-driven conflict of interest inherent in their positions, plus an astronaut with no engineering/safety background (he's a retired physicist) and a high-roller computer guy from Google (also with no aerospace engineering/safety background other than having jumped out of a balloon at extremely high altitude), "for knowledge." I wouldn't want to be holding Opener stock the first time some buyer crashes one and the lawyers start digging into corporate decision-making." SomeOldGuy
    I’m sure at some point the FAA will get involved especially if these things get real popular. Just like non manned drones have regulations. I’m not one who likes regulations. IMO not requiring a license or at least some good training in general aviation is not a good idea. If and when these things can fly longer than 15 min that’s when the license, regulations and training will start.
