    86 21ft Laser with OMC V6 SOLD

SOLD ... EDIT: $2700. I've run into a couple major issues this spring when it was time to put it in the water. I put a new a new battery in it last week and found the power jack plate was not working. The next day sitting on the dock, I found my power trim/tilt motor was toast. I still got it out and was able to get it on plane and ran 60+ coming back from a quick run up to Sport Island Pub and back. It wanted to go more but not being able to set the trim correctly, it was pretty squirrely. I ran diags per CMC customer support on the jack plate and based on that, replaced the harness and relays which fixed the jack plate issue. I also ordered and received, the motor for the power tilt/trim. It needs to be installed which is not a simple thing. New price,$2700, includes the new trim/tilt pump but it needs to be installed at this point.

Runs 75-76 with just me in it. Motor still runs strong. Could use some interior and cosmetic work. The tag on the motor clamp comes back to an '89 GT200. $2700

It is the boat in my avatar. Looks like I bought it spring of 2008. Some pics from 2014 through a launch pic from last year.

It has a CMC 5 1/2" set back, power jack plate. I also have a few misc. parts that can go with it. A couple of stainless props, a Land and Sea torque shift prop, and an OMC V6 lower housing with no guts

Several pics are posted in the thread. Not sure what you're looking for? It's probably going to be another week or 2 of snow melt depending on mother nature for me to be able to get the boat out of the barn to show and/or sell.

I have trouble characterizing the boat as having a cuddy. It's just a nose. I'd have to look again, but may have some upholstered old foam pieces that you could sleep on in a pinch kind of thing. But even if they do exist, They'd need to be replaced before used. The boats mechanically sound, but cosmetically challenged.

Bump, lowered price, $4200. Noticed new issue of the clear coat coming up on the nose.

I had one and we spent many weekends on it.

I wouldn’t call it a true cuddy but there was plenty of room for two adults to stretch out snd sleep comfortably.
Even slept 3 in it once.

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

So ... down to a $3700 asking price. I'd like to get this sold this year and time is running out. Fired it up on the hose a couple of days ago. Sounded fine, like the snotty V6 that it is.
