    Warhawk TX-20

I have a new to me 2001 Warhawk TX-20 with a 2002 300 Promax on it. It has a 12” seastar hydraulic plate. I’m trying to get this thing figured out. I have always had fast flats boats, but never a cat. I have the motor set so that it is 2” below the pad jacked all the way down, and about 3.5” above the pad all the way up. When I get much over 70 it wants to rock sponson to sponson. I’m not sure if I can just drive through it, or if I need more or less trim, or Jack plate, or whatever f I need a completely different prop. Im am not sure what prop these boats like. It also wants to steer to the right much more with the Bravo1. So far, the only thing I have tried is a pretty beat up 24 pitch big ear 3 blade that came with the boat, and a Bravo 1 27. The 27 seams to be measurably better all the way around, the 24 feels way too small, but it does rock side to side less with the 3 blade 24. I’m just looking for a place to start. Should I try a bunch of different props, or is it more in the trim and motor height setup? Any help is much appreciated. I will post some pictures when I get a minute to figure out how to do it on mobile. Thanks!

Seems odd to have a tunnel with a center pad chine walk. I had an stv pro comp behave similarly one time and I figured out the mid section of the motor was cracked. The mid was poorly done ROS snout add on deal. I assume it was letting the lower move some. Maybe check steering for play, check all mount bolts etc to make sure everything is snug. Sure some others will chime in. Good luck.
