2.5 Merc - cracked flywheel magnet

I was just getting my motor winterized and noticed one of my flywheel magnets is cracked with a small piece missing. Stator looks to be ok. Motor was running rich, and missing a bit at idle/acceleration, but seemed ok at top end. What are the typical symptoms of a cracked magnet?

I replaced the flywheel when I bought the motor 7 years ago because it had 3 magnets cracked. It was rebuilt 2 years ago and had been running pretty well since. Is there something that I should be looking at to avoid this happening again in the future, or is it likely just coincidence and adhesive letting go?

Anyone know where to find Merc magnets? I see OMC ones but haven't had luck with Mercury. I'd rather not send the thing to Florida if I can avoid it. With shipping costs I'd probably just be better off to find a replacement.
