Had an opportunity to get behind the wheel of a C8 once, I like the C7 styling better, but, damn did the C8 drive nice.

They are growing on me the more I see them, local show had a bunch. Very nice, different car but the wide body challenger looks really good also.

Myself as well. I hated them at first. But the sound and seeing them run!!!! And I hear the new motor revs way up there compared to a normal LS, or what ever they are calling it these days. I kind of like a day glow green or yellow with the leopard spots. I'll call the wrap shop.

I like the Challenger too, but they are SO HEAVY!!! You'd think with the new tech of alloys and composites they would have done better.

The dealers are really jacking the prices, especially in Cali. $35K over list. I had my mind set on a Turbo S (low mile used one), but the C8 caught my eye. I had a late C2 back in the "day". Boy do I miss that one!

Camouflaging the test-mule prototypes, does it really hide the designed body’s details?

Bad news... With the chip shortage among other things... Just a run of the mill C8 is running $40K over list... And the Z06... IF you can get one, will be $200K+.

Well looks like they are at "super car" , or "stupid car" prices. F*ck it.

So now what? Not sure I even want something that is so complex and computerized...

I wanted something different... Maybe a C2 build for sale. I had a '66 coupe. Fantastic car!

I had an 89 standard Corvette and a 92 ZR1 Corvette I love them both but I rarely drove them. I like the new Corvette but it would probably sit in the garage most of the time.

I have fond memories of my C2. Over 100K on the clock and it ran 138+... 300hp 327 with a two speed glide! Some of you now what I mean! Others: Google powerglide.

My '72 911S is no slouch though. 130+ no sweat with over 100K on the clock. Top speed is supposed to be 150+.

Either way, it will be a hotrod... 911 or Stingray... I love my 911, but a hot V8 C2 would be so much fun.

They look great! Just out of my budget. I had to settle on a 2018 mustang GT. I bought it new and I only have 11,300 mi on it. Just a weekend car when it's too windy to go out in the boat

preproduction car, not uncommon at all. Could be for a litany of reasons.

My 92 Corvette had selective ride control with a six speed stick it got great mileage on the highway, had plenty of power, handled great. My muscle car before the Corvette was a hemi CUDA.

Yep. I saw that a while back. What a machine.

BTW I called a dealer buddy of mine. He said the regular C8 was going for 30+K OVER list... and the Z06 is going to be 50 or so over list running a bit over $200K... F**k that!
