My kids cannot stay out of the boats so I am sure they will carry this on as long as I can keep them engaged. They love things that go vrroooom just like Dad!! I hope they will be on this site when they get older and can see all of dads stupid questions from when I started this whole hobby.

    Gator,

Maybe we need another "Rumble" to get things going again? I would have to bring a 34'CC with
250 XS's though......My Bridgeport is tucked away in the corner of the garage for a rainy day.

Don't give up hope.....we are still out here!

My 12 year old has the fast boat itch and we picked him up a Hydrostream Vixen with a 75hp Merc inline 4 this year and he LOVES it and is right there working on it and learning his way around it.

So far we have had it just under 55 with both of us in it. I know it has 60 in it with some more set up but that will have to wait until spring. I hope he keeps up with this boat stuff.

Ronnie is a hoot. We were at dinner about 4 years ago now "Ronnie was 10 or 11 i think" and he was asking Mark about porting and how high he could bring his transfer ports up LOL....I would want to adopt him if he didn't already have an excellent father. Great kid and great father/son pair.

I hope my son will come back to it, I brought him up in it and he and his girlfriend went on a trip with us that he said he had a blast. He is not into boats now but Jeep’s but maybe he will.
