Who is posting well thought out comments about my reputation? Sometimes I get a notice that someone has made a comment.

It's a silly little feature. One day I noticed I had a red bar below my name, didn't know where it came from. Then I noticed I had a bunch of notifications (I rarely check those). There were a bunch of little love notes from the weirdos that mainly haunt the political section, anonymously, of course. Now, whenever I post, no matter which sub forum, topic, or whatever I post, I get a little love notes that says TDS, loser, or something along those lines. I find it pretty funny, actually. Hey, whatever makes em happy.
