twin 300x closest center to center mounting

what is the closest center to center to mount twin/tripple 300x motors
on transom and cowls not touch lock to lock,,,
on my 2.5s i got em down to 16 1/2" by offsetting the outside cowls outward 1/2" on pan mounting plate
as i made my own glass cowls and pans
with the 3.0 alien cowls i wont be able to do that
so whats the closest to mount and not touch when turn lock to lock

18" was common close on 2.5 withy 260 cowls
actually got em to 16 1/4 with the offset outer cowls and not touch when turn
ole 27 excalibur with 5'10" transom and between the k planes
sold my skater and going back to vee but larger 32 this time with 3.0s
