Merc V6 Swivel Tube bushings

Hi,

The swivel housing bushings are pretty shot on my 225 promax. I've stripped the Swivel housing down and there doesn't appear to be and bushes in the lower section but was a thin aluminum bushing in the top.I have a set of part number 23-847726 buhes but these are about .100" bigger in Diameter. I have read about bushes being made and pressed in, are this available to buy? Does the lower section need machining out to take a bush? It looks as though there is a recess for a seal but no bushing. If not what material is normally used and does anyone have any dimensions please?
