Looking for Some Help with Sporty Driveshaft

My driveshaft surface is compromised, and has grooves in it, where the water pump sits. My searches here indicate this is a common problem. I know these shafts aren't made anymore, and I've read many threads on this issue, from installing speedi sleeves, using stainless shafts in place of the OEM, cutting longer shafts down, to spray welding stainless onto them. Can anyone on here help me understand what might be my best course of action, like where I might obtain a stainless replacement, and maybe even recommend someone near Sacramento, CA that might be able to help me with this issue?

1998 1.7x RH Sportmaster on Promax 300, if that matters.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think I am experienced enough to tackle this, and I guess there isn't anyone near me that can help.

Anyone have any suggestions on how else I might get this replaced/repaired?

    Thanks again.
