Casey Allen McClellan
Quincy/Bristol - Casey Allen McClellan, age 46, passed away peacefully September 14, 2021. His large stature and physique didn't hold a candle to his huge heart and vast love for life. Majoring in football and minoring in attending classes, he graduated from Liberty County High School in 1993. A southern gentleman and a good ol' boy, he loved taking care of and doing anything for anybody. As a small child, he fell in love with trucks, boats, guns and tractors, which only grew with age, just faster, bigger, and more expensive.
Dominating the competition in outboard drag boat racing, he held the title of the winningest racer with 11 World Championships. He led a respectable, lucrative career in heavy equipment operating and pipeline projects. You could always find him hunting big bucks, fishing on a river or off the coast, running hunting dogs, or riding dirt roads with friends. His favorite things in life were southern food, sweet tea, his wife, family, friends, dogs, Reece cups, salty raw oysters, and classic country music.
Casey is survived by his cherished wife, Christa Cain McClellan; son, Slade McClellan, step-sons, Luke Pararo and Hunter Johnson; his parents, Barbara Ann and Charles McClellan; step-brothers, Patrick and Herbie Cooper and Mac McClellan; great-aunts, Martha Parramore and Joy Paul; mother and father-in-law, Jan and Steve Cain, brother and sister-in-law, Jayson and Christy Cain and their children Adyson and Jayden, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 3:00 PM, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy, FL. A Memorial Celebration of Life will follow at the home of Christa McClellan.
The family is accepting flowers or memorial contributions may be made to an organization of your choice.
Charles McClellan Funeral Home, 15 S. Jackson St., Quincy, FL., 850-627-7677, is in charge of arrangements.Last edited by CUDA; 09-16-2021 at 04:05 PM.
