my 225 promax brand new in 1995 had a14's on them i had a friend that lived in Alabama who did the racing deal was sponsored and the 260 had 15's on them in the same era they read different when you ohm them much lower im thinking i have 3 used a15 around here some where but u know bout that thinking stuff

I have heard from an old merc man that has disected these boxes say that Sierra has the most similar internals in comparison to factory merc boxes quality.

I just bought new German Sierras today for $148 each on amazon. Be here Monday. I had a three cylinder Merc today.
1990 Shadow bass boat w/ 2.4 200 Merc. Totally resto'd boat and love it!
