Mini jacker jaxk plate
Just installed a mini jack plate on my 14 foot fishing boat,now the boat wants to bounce at wot.running a25 suzuki tiller handle,jack plate has 4 inches of set back.my question is do i need to keep raising motor to stop the bouncing,right now cavitation plate is level with botto of boat.Any help will be appreciated.

The anti ventilation plate should be at or above the surface of the water. The higher you can run the motor the better

10 4 it still seems like there is alot of foot in the water .i can barely see the cavitation plate out of the water.how much higher should i start out with .i was told with every inch of setback i could raise my motor 1/4 of an inch .
