We received several other pieces from others. We got some nice steering components from Kurt Dressler and Eric Kime and we got a nice fuel pump and this bad ass hotfoot pedal from Larry Gempp Jr. DanO will surely be riding in style next season

I was in my garage yesterday working on a boat and ran across what I believe is the lock nut for the steering wheel shaft and the plastic helm cover that goes behind the wheel. I'll try to get those shipped this week.

Little update. Boat is out of the shop getting some fiberglass work done. We got a set of original Vamp windscreens from Josh7_78, but one of them had a chunk out of the top. But we fixed that Thanks Josh for the screens. They turned out nice. More updates coming soon.

I dont know how I am just seeing the post now! Let me know what is still needed and I will see what I can dig up. I have a pretty good parts pile here I was saving for the Vector I have but Dan could use it a lot more than me right now.

Straight after the boat coming back from the shop, we are going to start rigging it and getting everything wired & such before we take it all back down for paint. We believe we have what we need to rig it except for a couple parts but we may come up with some stuff as we get back at it. I would have to check but I do not think we have the main power/ground cables for the boat and misc wiring for the gauges and lights. Also, the budget went higher than we figured for the fiberglass so we had to spend the money we had set aside for getting a cover. Those two are the only major things we are dealing with at this moment. Anyone in the group may correct me if I missed anything though haha

Thanks Kevin. We have a fair amount of stuff and I am sure a few items are missing. Based on our calculations, all of the current funding is accounted for. We are going to need some additional funds to get it to the finish line. Currently waiting on interior. I anticipate we will get it sanded and pre-rigged in the next week or two. Then paint, then final rig and deliver. Once we have a final date for delivery we will probably have a small "surprise" party. Chad was nice enough to donate the space to do this work and it would be nice to get this complete and delivered before Christmas so he can have his garage space back for other projects.

We should have a final list by the end of the month. Cash is always nice too. It's easier to just get some of the supplies locally. It takes a lot to rig an empty boat, including a lot of labor. The core group has really stepped up to the plate on this one.

Tonight I finished sanding the whole back of the transom, worked on the splash well, & have that 50% done plus the front side of the transom ready for final sanding. Hopefully after this weekend the whole boat will need just a couple hours worth of final paint prep sanding b4 she can go to Scott......I'll get what I can done tomorrow afternoon and maybe rigging if there is time.

We could also use an aluminum or stainless plate to install on the transom before mounting the jack plate. If anyone has anything lying around they don't need or a rough piece approx 24" x 24" that we could make fit and look nice please let one of us know.

We made some really good progress in the last few days. Lots of sanding and pre-rigging. For some reason there was sun baked on tape all over the place. We got that cleaned up good

Transom was repaired by a local third party professional to make sure it was done properly and structurally sound. The transom had previously been replaced but the top and corners were not completed. After we ground off the rough gelcoat DanO did, we discovered that the transom needed more attention. It has been wrapped over the top and in the corners. Members of our volunteer group are making it smooth in preparation for painting

Original cowl vents were gone, so we bought some new ones from donated funds. With a little work they fit perfect.
