Check out all the things this truck has on it. Like, with the truck hooked up to the included charger it can be set up to automatically power the average home up to 3 days off of the trucks battery; if you loose power.
There is a Smart Hitch option that allows you to calibrate the system to an empty trailer and then as you add stuff on the trailer it can tell you the best way to distribute the items to keep tongue weight within range. Pretty cool if you are looking for an electric 1/2 ton truck.

I like gas or diesel, I do way to much traveling up and down the coast to look for charging stations. I like to modify the trucks I have...cat back/ intake and tune the motor. I am currently looking to put a supercharger on my current truck. Just not feeling the electric yet. My sons lifted Titan pro 4x we dumped the exhaust in front of the rear tire like the old hemi cuda, Looks good and sounds great. it’s a newer truck. The quiet of electric doesn’t do anything for me. The Bronco is going to be nice! I would like to get one of those.

I like my old 1990 F250 4x4 460 CID more and more each day....I see a lot of the old 80s thru late 90's on the road and still working. Last of the real trucks.

I hear ya. Don't see why anyone who does a lot of towing would want an electric truck but if you don't do a lot of hauling and don't travel over 300 miles in a day it could be okay. BTW the truck has over 500hp and over 700ftlb of torque and all models come with two motors. One in the front and one in the rear.
The thing I think would be a problem would be if you like to have a 500 watt, or more, stereo system in your vehicle it seems that would shorten the range on the battery.
In the first video they said you can replace individual cells in the battery, so that is a big plus. I believe that with all the other electric vehicles you have to replace the whole battery if cells start to go bad. Also if the battery won't hold at least a 70% charge, when you reach 100k miles, Ford will still warranty the battery.
The advantage to getting a Ford electric vehicle over a Tesla is finding a dealer that can work on it is much much better and they have a lot of places to charge.
Do a quick destination search in the link to see all the charging stations.---> https://www.ford.com/buy-site-wide-c.../try-the-tech/
I was surprised how many charging stations they have.
Charging station and dealer map.

My dealer has several "quick" charging stations that you can use for free with your ford. I never see anyone using them, being free I would think people would take advantage of it. They have a cafe and a small theatre there. Could plug in, get a bite to eat, (good food!) or catch a flick then leave with a full charge.

Nissan Develops Technology to Halve Recycling Cost of Rare Earths
With tension simmering between China and the United States, automakers are trying to reduce their reliance on a key driver of the EV revolution - permanent magnets that power electric engines, as most are made of rare earth metals from China.
Pretty interesting... anything we can do to reduce our reliance on China is a plus in my book.
Let's just go ahead and make America great again!
