New (To Me) Boat, Need Some Gearcase Advice

    Hey guys,
I just picked up a Skeeter ZX200 bass boat, it wasn't really what I was looking for (wanted to get a tunnel hull of some sort), but it should be a bit of fun, and I think I can easily flip it and make a few bucks if I see what I really want come up.

Anyhow, it has a 2016 250 ProXS Opti on the back, and I need a new gearcase. I don't know if I need the complete yet, or just the bare case (boat has not arrived yet). I see there is a few options out there.

What is the difference in the Torquemaster and the Torquemaster 2? I hear that you can't run the TM2 on motors that don't have the blue trim caps.

Also it sounds like this boat should be able to run mid-high 70s (can anyone confirm?), I'm assuming sticking with the TM and not the sporty is the way to go?

Looks like a pretty nice piece - the XS is right up your ally . I believe those hulls perform well - 70 will be easilly found . Your going to have to wait for someone else to answer your drive leg question .

Thanks Kelly. I do love the Optis. It would probably be my luck though, that after preaching about their reliability if maintained, that I'd melt it down. Maybe a stuck injector, haha.

On another note, I think sporty is out unless there's a killer deal for some reason. Now just need to find/find out which torquemaster I need.

The big difference in the t1 and the t2 is the t 2 uses verado internals, way more beefy
