Much sadness Robby passed away.
Update on Robby's services.

First, i need to post a few pics from this week while I have been hanging at the Washington coast. Robby and I had a plan to get him down here one more time, as he loved riding down here. Unfortinately, we never quite made it that last trip together. Bet we could have convinced him to even try some of the morning catch.

Please share this with anyone you can, and I will post more specifics to Robby's facebook when I know all the details.

Robby did not want a formal service (memorial or funeral). However, he did agree to the military service and burial of his ashes at the Tahoma military Cemetery in Auburn ( near Seattle) I am waiting to hear more from his Power of attorney representative Michelle about a date, and I will again let everyone know. Several have asked and I know there was a large group facebook post, maybe high school friends, that I can no longer find. I am still one of those working stiffs, so time is an issue. The good thing is I have worked at home since COVID hit and that allowed me to help Robby more.

On a lighter note, when things started to look to be on a bad track two months ago, Robby let me know his wishes to be cremated. I asked what about the ashes, want to be made into a giant firework to be blown up over our neighborhood. Nope, his plan was to be dumped out of the back of a neighbor's speed boat going as close to 100 mph as water conditions and power would allow. Being the "gearhead" he was, he ran numbers for me. Approximately 28 foot pickle fork designed hull, twin 250 horsepower offshore Evenrudes, BIG GRINS! I was in. But then plans changed.

Hope all are doing well and thinking great and wild thoughts of our times with Robby in our lives.

That is a shame about Robby. I liked his posts, and I could relate a bit to him, being a NW guy, like myself. RIP

My prayers go out to his family and friends. I talked bikes on the phone with Robby a few times as he was an old ice racer in the Midwest when he lived in IL. Good guy and definitely did what he wanted when he could.

Gosh dang it….I suspected that might be the case, he hadn’t been on S&F since mid June. He definitely was one of the good guys on here! We were a generation a part in age, but became friends over the years talking about I6 Mercs, great rock and roll, and politics.
