Man, that is a old photo of my red comp viper. I don't think I have that shot anymore. She is mostly a trailer queen now. I don't get to fly it much anymore but after 45+ years of owning it I've got a few hours behind the wheel.

That was THE set up way back when they were new designs. Loved the balance and easy performance of the combo. A very light hull, 150XS power with a 28p chopper or cleaver and it would really fly. Made me a HydroStream owner after my Allison got out ran by one.

Right now I've been running my 14/15 speedmaster with the 10-1/4X15 wheel. That old girl only weighs 748lbs ready to run, Just add gas and my old ass. Yep, It sure has been fun.

You still need to bring her up to the river here Dave. It is a great place to run.

... so who is the go-to guy on redoing these hulls ? just put them back factory with a couple of knees in there ? ... I'm going to do to work myself but if I get to a spot I'm unsure about I'd like to have somebody I could direct a question to?
    Thanks
Start a thread over in "boat rebuilds" or the "fiberglass composites" sections. Post lots of pictures and ask questions there. People will help. Read a few rebuild threads that are already in those sections. Lots of good info in those. Learn from the mistakes of others.
