    OMC electrical issues

My 89 Johnny 200 GT has been giving me a bit of grief lately.
I thought it was a gas issues but turned out to be electrical.
This is the third time this happens to me. I get to the launch and it wont start.
Today, I got smart and tried to fire it up in the driveway before we left. Sure enough,
no spark. I went through all the wiring and couldn't find anything. Moments later she fired right up and didn't give us any more problems the rest of the day.
Again, this is the third time this happens.

disconnect the black/yellow kill wire and check for spark. report back. we can walk you through this. cranking speed is the first step aka fresh battery that takes a good load. third step make sure all grounds, especially to the power pack are clean and tight.

Well I didn't disconnect the black/yellow wire. I turned the key and she fired right up with out gas or primer. I'm starting to think it's a kill switch wire somewhere. I noticed another kill switch under the gear shifter shaft. I wonder if that's the culprit. If it gets cooler, I will play around with it this week after work.
    Thanks for the help people.

Once started if it runs ok doubtful its the kill switch. Most over look crank speed as if only off a few rpm will not have spark.

As the battery weakens from trying to start it, I should not be able to start it, but each time this happened, I made it out anyway.
It's been too hot for me to work on it after work. Gonna play with it on the weekend.
