    Mercury Pro Max Propeller

Looking for feedback on Mercury Pro Max Props.

The factory description says it outperforms the Lightning ET prop.

Anybody have personal experience with this prop that can comment.

Info on what you’re running it on, which engine, prop heights, etc. would be helpful.

All I run now are ProMax props on my 21' Stroker Bass boat with a 300 SuperMag. The ProMax out performing the lightning et would depend on the boat. If I ran a lightning et on my boat it would not lift the boat enough and would be slower. The Promax carries the load better but would be slower on lighter boats. I've got a 1.62 fat shaft sportmaster and I run a 29p and 30p at 1 to 2.5 inches over the pad. I've ran the 29 to the low to mid 90s I haven't stretched the legs on the 30 yet.

When you say the ProMax carries the load better and lifts the boat how do you mean, stern lift or bow lift?

Mercury Pro Max High Perf Over-hub exhaust 26 Pitch 4 blade on my V6 Vector worked Awesome. Smooth.

3 Blade 26 Yamy drag and 28 Lightening ET Over Hub exhaust props work better for my use the way my Vector is setup.

The ProMax has more surface area to lift the boat. It will provide more overall lift compared to the lightning et. The promax does seem to lift the stern more than other props like the bravo xs, fury, or tempest.
