We went through several washers and dryers, finally a repair guy said, "buy a Speed Queen". We've had both a SQ washer and dryer for the past several years. No more repairs. Repair guy said, doesn't matter how much you spend, all of the non SQ washers have a plastic gear under the tub. SQ has brass. Crazy how crappy some stuff is made now. One of the "high efficiency" washers we had would not even wet the top of the load no matter what setting you put it on. If you used powder detergent, there would be granules on the top of the clothes when done with the cycle.

I went to the OshKosh and Pierce factories when I was there inspecting new crash trucks for the airport. Very impressive set up.

Don't forget the darker, dumber side of Wisconsin... we had Ed Gein, Jeffrey Dahmer, and this chick:

Why does it always have to be Wisconsin???
