Merc lightweight flywheel timing
Can anyone share with me their method for setting timing with a flywheel that has no marks? Im assuming i need to use a 360 degree dial as well as TDC indicator but id like to have some specific instructions so i dont screw this up. Thanks!

TDC FINDER THEN CUT A TINY MARK IN IT.. then like you already said a 360 degree wheel or a piece of paper with 360 degree will let you mark it for what you want... being lightened wont make any difference . TDC is TDC

I read an archive that said turn flywheel clockwise to TDC, mark wheel at pointer and zero dial, then turn wheel counterclockwise 0.150 on the dial and mark wheel at pointer. This should be 25 degrees advance. That sound right?
