Scream and Fly Facebook

I very rarely do the Facebook thing. I go on and read some of it pertaining to boating sometimes. I just saw Scream and Fly Facebook and saw a thread where Greg commented on having the proper safety gear on because he showed a video of a guy in a Stream getting bent out of shape at high speeds. Guy recovered and everything was fine. I cannot believe the number of totally Stupid responses to the thread. A great percentage of the people have no boating experience or have never been in a high performance boat. Wonder what they think Scream and Fly is all about.

Keyboard warriors - commenting with no repercussions - stupid people listening to other stupid people.

Its a real problem in our society now. If we were all standing in a group and talking about the guy getting out of shape in the ‘Stream, 99% of those idiots who said something stupid on Facebook would keep their mouths shut....mostly bc they don’t have the balls to pipe up to someone in person. They wouldn’t be able to take the ego hit of being wrong and ridiculed in person. But online, oh no, everyone is an expert.....and if you get called on it you either pile up more bs argument or “leave”....either way, no repercussions. In real life those people would have a black eye...

I wish it was not posted on FB. I think the amount of traffic that got is not good for S&F. Yes, it happens and we all know that. I was going after the idiots posting by replying to their posts, most did not engage my reply to their stupid statements.

From reading these comments, sounds like I'm not missing much. I've never been on a Facebook or a tweet or any of that crap. My social media skills stop at S&F. Sounds like those facebook asswipes need some seat time at 100+ to appreciate what our group does!

Facebook is the land of the nitwits which is why I didn't post my video there, I wish it wasn't there. I shared it on my instagram page, cause the people there get it. The overwhelming majority of comments were along the line of "yep, been there, don't let it scare you" It seems most on the FB post aren't fast boat guys. Greg pulled it from IG and shared on FB, I tagged him in it on IG so, it is what it is. It has a crazy number of views and I fear it may have more of a negative impact at this point.

I put it up because I wanted to show that things can go wrong and a lot of people don't seem to give these things the respect they deserve, myself included until now.

I hope it wasn't a mistake in the long run.

I know you wouldn't put it there i know you posted it on Instagram. . Why does anyone bother with Facebook its just full of a bunch of ****ing trolls idiots well nevermind we all know can tell by replies here the comments etc and just proves my point of trolls idiots wannabes know it alls etc. Ive never been on and not interested in it..

Only social media i do is Instagram and SNF...until you can reach thru and punch someone in the face or make them stand in front of you and say it i will stick to these two.. lol

I wouldn't worry about it being a mistake its not..
And f*** them until they get in and drive at 85 -100 plus
They can shut the fu** up its none of their business..
As you can tell by my response i dont think id last long on there anyway.. lol.
