1963 Magnolia Mag Cat speedboat

New member and here is my recent purchase. Been sitting for years in my neighbors garage and owned by him for the last 25 years. He restored and repowered it in 1998 with the current set up - twin Mariner 60 HP & hydraulic steering, new transom and added another 1/2" of fiberglass to the inside. In really good shape but will be going though and replacing fuel filters, new water pump impeller kits and replacing one of the oil tanks (float stuck, siren always on) and the custom trailer will be getting some love too - rollers and hardware and some other random bits and pieces. Will need interior redone but can wait until end of the season for that. All in all, everything is very clean, a real survivor.
Couple items could use some help with:

1. Would like to add a bimini but hate to drill holes. Any suggestions on this?
2. Anyone know anything about these boats that can share? Done some searching around on the internet and there is very little out there and most of what I was able to find is 10+ years old. Any others out there?

The garage is my neighbor I got the boat from and pretty sure that isn't a rocket - got my interest piqued though now and will have to drop over for another look!

My Mako has tracks that mount inside the gunnel so no holes on the surface

Nice. i have a 62, steering on port side.bench seat no windshield with a 150 did 65, 220 75, 225 80. first one ive seen with windshield. are your gas tanks built in? Mine had 2 saddle tanks, factory gas fills in gunnels still there.

Yes, previous owner built in as shown here. 12 gal. each and the top is aluminum. Would love to see some pics of your Mag as well!
