Best way to send money for a car across USA to make sure you receive title & vehicle

Hey guys buying a car in California private owner. I live in IL car has a loan on it so need to pay off loan to free up title and pay owner the rest (if they are not upside-down)Then also make sure I receive the title and vehicle I will not have a loan. I will be shipping the car home in a enclosed trailer.

Auto broker. They are bonded and insured for the payoff taking place.

Side cut the broker and get with the banker. I have done that before. With the owners permission it should be no problem.

Maybe taking a flight to CA and meet seller at the bank to finalize the deal. Would give you piece of mind and no surprises.

Just call a broker in CA. near where he is at. They will get a signed authorization from the seller along with the lien account information. Then you wire the money to them, they cut two checks and give you the signed title along with lien satisfaction. We used to do it for $200.00 on boat transactions along with the surveys and transport.

Send me the money, cover my travel cost; minus food expenses and I'll drive the car to you. Depending on what the car is I might cover my own lodging expenses too.
