I had just put the heads on recently and did not recheck tourque after running it. I ordered head stud kit for my 260 that I am assembling now.

Loose head bolts at top cylinder. Just put heads on recently. I did not recheck after run time. Lesson learned.

When is "too little squish"? On a cold mota?

I hear 35th to 40th is the accepted normal. I’m running tighter than that and have no kissing. I’ve run over 10,000 RPM a couple of times. I checked the squish with standard heads. If the squish is too tight you can take a standard head and cut a slight recess so there is no kissing. The head on the left is a standard 21cc O ring head. Notice the recess. The one on the right is a standard cut head which I will cut a slight recess, I’m pushing my luck running it so tight.
