Yeah, was not quite the Fla trip I had planned.

My buddy that is just moving down there and invited us down, w/the boat, and I, both thought he lived 1/2 hr from your river place.
We were off by 2 hrs.

We flew in thurs AM and it rained (Deland) for 3 days straight and was 65*.

He decided, and I agreed, that he was not willing to pull his gorgeous 22’ Talon through 2 1/2hrs of rain to likely drink in your barn, then be 2 1/2 hrs from home.
I texted you Sat afternoon, then hung up and booked a room for me snd the Mrs over by you.

Then realized I was totally out of line abandoning our friends that hosted us the previous 3 days.
Cost me a $100 to cx that room.

It gets better.

Left there and the day we moved in w/our friends (x Fla neighbors) in Vero Beach my brother called to tell me his son, my nephew, had died of covid that morning.

So yeah, we had fun while down, but Ohio is feeling pretty good right now brother.

So I am now, 0 - 18 on making Suwanee.

Oh man ! Sorry you could not make it . We got really lucky Saturday night as it cleared up literally as soon as the band showed up . We'll see you next time man.!!
